Position Overview
We’re looking for someone with expertise in SQL / T-SQL / DBA to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining client’s database systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Passionate individuals with 3-5 years of experience that enjoy a fast-paced, agile work environment are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain database systems using SQL, T-SQL, and DBA best practices.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Perform database administration tasks, including backup and recovery, user management, and security.
- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand database requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends to recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation for database processes, procedures, and schemas.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a SQL Developer, T-SQL Developer, or DBA, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL programming.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with database administration tasks, such as backups, restores, and security.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile development environment.
